Hold'em Lab

Terms of Use

Last updated: October 6, 2026 · Privacy Policy

General information about using the service; not legal advice.

1. About the app

These terms apply to your use of Hold'em Lab and its associated support pages. Use the app only if you can lawfully accept these terms, or with the permission and supervision required by applicable law. Follow the app’s store age rating and local rules.

Hold'em Lab is a poker education and practice simulation. It does not accept wagers, offer real-money gambling, or award cash prizes. Simulated chips have no monetary value and cannot be redeemed.

2. Free practice and Pro access

Free access includes five new hands per local calendar day on this device, shared between Play and Preflop drills. Starting a hand uses one allowance; opening a training screen for a new session or changing a drill’s position can start a new hand. You may finish an already-started hand when the remaining allowance reaches zero. The allowance resets at local midnight. Ranges, lessons, and your progress remain available when the allowance is used.

An active Hold'em Lab Pro entitlement provides unlimited game hands and preflop drills. Pro access is determined from the purchase provider’s records. A network connection may be needed to verify, restore, or update purchase status. Restoring a valid purchase does not create a new charge.

3. Purchases and subscriptions

Available plans, billing periods, localized prices, and any applicable offers are shown in the app and the App Store confirmation before purchase. Those store details control the amount you pay. Purchases are processed through Apple; RevenueCat helps validate purchases and provide access.

Manage or cancel subscriptions through the app’s subscription management action or your Apple account settings. Removing the app or resetting progress does not cancel a subscription. Request refunds through Apple’s refund service; eligibility is determined under Apple’s policies and applicable law. Apple’s cancellation instructions are also available.

4. Permitted use

You may use the app for personal learning and practice. Do not misuse it to violate laws, interfere with its operation, distribute its content without permission, or fraudulently obtain paid access. Nothing here limits rights that applicable law requires us to provide.

5. Learning content and availability

Explanations, ranges, ratings, and simulated outcomes are learning tools, not a guarantee of results in real play. They are not financial, legal, or wagering advice. Poker involves uncertainty, and simulations may simplify real-world situations.

We aim to keep the app useful and available, but errors, interruptions, or changes can occur. Features may evolve. To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation or a particular learning or financial result. These terms do not exclude mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

6. Local data and privacy

Learning progress, preferences, and the free-hand allowance are stored locally on the device. Device changes, removal of app data, or backup behavior may affect those records. See our Privacy Policy for information about local records, purchases, RevenueCat, hosting, and support communications.

7. Apple’s license and store terms

Use of the iOS app is also subject to applicable Apple store terms and, where applicable, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These service terms supplement those terms and do not override Apple’s purchase processes or mandatory legal protections.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the app or applicable requirements. The date above identifies the published version. Changes do not remove rights you already have under applicable law.
