Hold'em Lab

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 6, 2026 · Terms of Use

General information about our privacy practices; not legal advice.

Overview

Hold'em Lab is a poker learning and practice app. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used.

Information we collect

Hold'em Lab does not require you to create an account. The app does not request your contacts, photos, or precise location. We do not receive your full payment-card details. Purchases and subscriptions do involve information processed by Apple and RevenueCat, as described below.

The app does not include advertising SDKs or use your app activity for cross-app advertising tracking. RevenueCat provides purchase and subscription reporting needed to operate paid access.

Information stored on your device

The app stores a small amount of information locally on your device so it can remember your experience level, language preference, tutorial status, and learning progress such as hands played, accuracy, and streaks. It also stores the local date and number of free hands started to operate the shared five-hands-per-day allowance for Play and Preflop. These local records are not uploaded by the app to a learning-profile server.

Language and device settings

When the app starts, it reads the device’s operating-system language setting to choose English or Japanese. The app does not separately upload your language preference or learning progress to us. Purchase service providers may process technical app or device information.

Purchases, Apple, and RevenueCat

Apple processes App Store payments. RevenueCat helps the app validate purchases, restore access, show paywalls, and determine whether Pro is active. This can involve an app user identifier, including an SDK-generated anonymous identifier, purchase or receipt information, product identifiers, subscription status, and technical information needed to operate and secure the service.

The app uses this information to provide purchased features and subscription management. See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy and Apple’s Privacy Policy for their practices. Resetting learning progress does not cancel a subscription or delete transaction records held by these providers.

Support pages and communications

Our public support and legal pages are hosted on Replit. Hosting providers may process standard request information, such as IP addresses, browser details, timestamps, and requested pages, to deliver and secure the website. If you email support, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address and message.

Sharing, retention, and your choices

We do not sell or rent your information. Information may be processed by the service providers described above to operate the app, process purchases, respond to support requests, comply with law, and protect the service. Local learning progress can be reset in the app. The daily allowance is separate from learning progress and resets with the local calendar day, not when you reset your statistics.

Local app records persist in device storage until removed through device or app controls, subject to operating-system backup behavior. Purchase records and hosting logs follow the relevant providers’ retention practices and applicable legal requirements. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information we hold; your rights depend on applicable law. Deleting local data does not cancel an App Store subscription.

Children’s privacy

Hold'em Lab does not knowingly collect personal information from children through support communications. The app is an educational simulation, not a real-money gambling service. Follow the App Store age rating and applicable rules when using it. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and address the request.

Security and policy changes

We use the app’s and service providers’ available safeguards, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure. We may update this policy when the app or our practices change. The date above identifies the latest published version.
